Okay...think about the best muffin you've ever had. Now, multiply it by two and add a quaint Anacortes storefront. Yep, you've pretty much got the perfect muffin. The Store - located literally a block off the main drag into downtown - is worth a quick side trip. Their muffin selection is off the charts, featuring flavor combinations rarely seen in the muffin-challenged PNW. Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake? Yes please. Several varieties of chocolate and/or fruit? Um, yeah. Not to mention, these babies are HUGE. I've never actually finished one in a single sitting. Usually I eat the tempting muffin top first, then save the rest for later. The Store also has an incredible selection of wine (perfect spot to stop for a couple of bottles before you hit the islands), and other convenience store items plus a cute cafe in the back. They have coffee and espresso, and plenty of indoor seating if you want to enjoy your muffin on-the-spot (and avoid getting crumbs all over your car, don't ask me how I know). Oh, and did I mention the folks who work there are super friendly too? Win win!

I stop here every time I'm in town. I love this place. It's absolutely amazing. 10/10!!! The bakery is incredible, if you're here when the cafe is open, definitely stop for a sandwich, delicious 😋 such a treasure. ❤️ …

Came from out of town and we were told by locals to try the muffins here. They said they were to die for and they were not wrong! So many delicious flavors and that are unique. They have 200 different kinds they switch out all day. They’re moist and amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try their breads, deli and other baked goods. They have the friendliest workers too. This is a must stop if you’re a foodie. Can’t wait to come back

I haven’t been to the store in ages. Went in a Friday night for an espresso and left with a variety of the best muffins on the planet! The gal said she was just taking some out of the oven. I waited:). I ate 1/2 . Sooo good. They’re large and packed with fresh ingredients.

A secret spot harboring an outstanding bakery just off the way to Anacortes Wa. They feature a wide variety of muffins, cookies and breads with a neighborhood, corner store feel. The place should be featured in a movie with its creaking wood floors and screen door. I love it!

Great little store with amazing muffins and pastries!!! Their muffins are HUGE and so delicious! Best blueberry muffin I have ever tasted! Excellent service by staff; super friendly. Large selection of wines if you are into that. Nice little seating area/room to sit down and eat. Would recommend stopping at this unique, treat of a place!

One of our favorite spots, the muffins are WORTH the value 100%. Fresh baked everyday they do rotate seasonally so make sure to try and new one every time you visit. Also great mix of other baked goods that are all top notch. This store also sells snacks, drinks and wine. Nice stop for any occasion, parking lot is small so be careful getting in and out. Dont miss out on this place.

lol so I’m not kidding when I say this but the first thing that comes up when you search “what to do in Anacortes” on TikTok, going here for muffins is the first video that comes up. So I went and got muffins on 6/12/26 and I was SO overwhelmed by the selection. My Husband and I ended up getting the Banana Cream Pie and Peach Lemonade muffins and OH MY GOD *chef’s kiss* Best thing to snack on around midnight in a hotel bed after a day of adventuring. I’m so glad I came here. Can’t wait to come again and try more muffins!

We were told that this is a must stop when in the Anacortes area. Well, after stopping, we agree. We reviewed the menu, so we ordered ahead. Which I highly recommend for your sandwich order. However, you must go see for yourself all of the muffin and cookie options. I think I was told that they have over 100 plus muffin flavors and that they change daily. I’ve never felt so overwhelmed and challenged to make a decision in my life. All of the muffins, cookies and breads look amazing. I’d love one of each please….😂 We opted for half of a sandwich each, as we’d planned to spoil ourselves with a cookie today, saving a muffin for tomorrow morning. My husband enjoyed the turkey with cranberries on sourdough. I enjoyed the veggie on sourdough. Both were very good. My only recommendation is to go for the whole sandwich, as it is only $1.50-$2.00 more. Each half sandwich was $9.95. That way you have a snack for later. Obviously everything is fresh, made with love and made to enjoy, which we did. The people working here are absolutely a joy-friendly, outgoing and very welcoming. The store also offers grab and go snacks and drinks. It has an impressive wine selection, too many to list. Great find-we will be back! Thank you for a great experience! See you next time!
